Sims 3 has stopped working, windows checking for solution?

I recently uninstalled all my Sims 3 expansion packs, while keeping my custom content. I have the base game, high end loft, ambitions, and nightlife. I decided to re install them. I installed the base game first and updated it. I decided to play it, and install the other expansions later. I got through the main menu, but when I got to the loading screen for the level I selected, a box appears that says Sims 3 has stopped working, windows is checking for solution, but it doesn't offer any solutions. I installed all my other expansions. I went into the nightlife loading screen but a box appeared that says an error has occurred. I got past this by right clicking the icon and selecting run as administrator. It tells me that a software update is available, so I update again, but the error message on the launcher appears again when I re-enter the launcher. I decided to start the game by going through the TS3 file, but when I get onto the level loading screen, the box still appears that says Sims 3 has stopped working windows is checking for solution. What can I do to fix this. I need help.
