49ers fans....are the 49ers doing the same old song and dance?

Well, we passed on Aaron Rodgers to draft Alex Smith. This year, with Ryan Mallett available (arguably the QB with the best pro-set of skills in the draft), they take Colin Kaepernick. Nothing against Kaepernick, but Mallett has far more upside than him, and the potential to truly star with the 49ers and their multitude of receiving threats. I just can't help but feel we let another big time QB get away from us.
