Everquest 2 wont start up, HELP!!!?

Ok, so i bought everquest 2 sentinels fate on steam, i downloaded it, went to the launcher, signed in, then went to the patching thing, then after it patched, i hit play, but it never brought me in game, i have tried this multiple times, restarting my computer, turning on and off my fire wall, I have a vista, though when it doesn't let me go in game, i get no error messages or anything telling me whats wrong, please help.
