Huawei Ascend Widget Problems!?

Hey guys. i just qot the phone about 2 months ago and it was working fine. Now whenever i press Menu->Add->Android Widgets, I get an error message saying "Sorry! The application Canvas (process android.process.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." That goes for the "Huawei Widgets" as well. My widgets arent working and i really need them. This has been happening for about 3 weeks now. Please can someone help me get it back to the way it use to be! (:
