In Resident Evil 4, is it possible to kill the giant, spanish bearded guy with one shot from a rocket launcher?

So, I just got into the boss fight with the giant bearded guy. I only have a shotgun and a handgun on me and I was wondering if I could get a rocket launcher and blow this *****'s head off with one shot. Has anyone tried it?
