HELP SIMS 3 PROBLEM!!!!!!?

From what I've heard, EA has changed the way the games update so that all updates now apply to the base game and it's been causing some issues. I'm now having an issue where my game won't update at all and I have all the expansions and stuff packs installed including Generations. You might want to try uninstalling all of your EPs and going back down to just the base game, update the base game and then reinstall your expansion packs and see if that works. It's just a theory though since I've been too lazy to unistall my game and try it for myself though. Good luck!
